I only used to wear a watch when wearing cricket. When I met the current mrs sock 15 years ago, her mum kept buying me a watch every christmas and I was obliged to wear them even though I didn't like them (too chunky).
A few years ago the wife bought me a Daniel Wellington with a nato strap (cloth), and its really comfortable and light so I wear that every day.

When I go out, yes. For my standard working day at home, no.
I won't stop either - watches are beautiful things.

just sold my GMT II Master for £11k.
2009 with box and papers - bought it for £4.5k.
working from home now i was barely wearing it so i flogged it.

I haven't worn a wrist watch for about two or three years now.
That's not to say I definitely won't buy one again in the next year or two. Its not always convenient to get my phone out of my pocket to check the time.
If I'm cutting it fine for a bus or a train it's handy to quickly glance at a wrist watch.

Never fancied a really pricey watch, but do wear one every day...a Vostock Amphibian, Russian one, blue faced and I love the design.
also wear my Grandads watch when I go to any horse racing - he used to buy a load of things after having big wins on the horses and greyhounds, but used to have his lean spells to, so depending on when he bought it, it's probably worth anything between 10 pence and a few grand.

Given watches when young, was an active kid and broke them within days.
Wore one because I was required to for a job I had just before university.
Never have since.

Always wear a watch . I took my dads watch that I inherited to a specialist geezer today as it always plays up . My dad got this watch on his eighteenth or twenty first . Approx 1946 . It needs complete new works and glass .250 quid . Would have walked away but sentiment ......
